We are pleased to inform you that the Foundation Day celebrations and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society for Promotion of Horticulture (SPH) will be held on Friday, 17 October 2025 at 10:00 AM in the G. S. Randhawa Auditorium, ICAR-IIHR, Hesaragahtta Lake Post, Bengaluru.
In this regard, the Executive Committee Members, SPH cordially invite you to attend the Foundation Day celebrations. Your gracious presence will add to the significance of this occasion.
We are honoured to inform you that Dr. S. D. Shikhamany, Ph.D. (Hort.), FNAAS, FHSI, FSPH, Formerly Director, ICAR-NRC for Grapes, Pune; Director, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru; and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh, has kindly consented to grace the occasion.
During the ceremony, Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh DDG (Hort. Science), ICAR will be conferred with the Honorary Fellowship of the SPH.
In addition, the Fellow of SPH, Associate Fellow of SPH, “Smt. Anne Shikhamany Best Paper Award”, and the “Dr. G. S. Randhawa Best Thesis Awards” in Fruits & Plantation Crops, Vegetables & Tuber Crops, and Flower, Medicinal & Spices Crops categories will also be conferred.
